Parallel distribution of medicinal products is distribution of centrally authorised medicinal products imported from a European Economic Area country on the market in Latvia, if these products are distributed by a medicinal product wholesaler that is not the manufacturer or marketing authorisation holder of these medicinal products or their legal representative.
The parallel distributor submits a notification to the European Medicines Agency regarding parallel distribution of centrally authorised medicinal products in compliance with the format established by the European Medicines Agency.
