- Evaluates the compliance of the activity of pharmaceutical companies – human medicines manufacturing/importing companies, including foreign manufacturing companies, with the legislation of the Republic of Latvia, normative acts and the requirements of the European Commision;
- Monitors and evaluates the compliance of tissue and organ harvesting and storage centres, blood offices in medical care institutions, the State Donor Centre and blood preparation departments.
